महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-219, verse-41

एवमेते कुमाराणां मया प्रोक्ता महाग्रहाः ।
यावत्षोडश वर्षाणि अशिवास्ते शिवास्ततः ॥४१॥
41. evamete kumārāṇāṁ mayā proktā mahāgrahāḥ ,
yāvatṣoḍaśa varṣāṇi aśivāste śivāstataḥ.
41. evam ete kumārāṇām mayā proktā mahāgrahāḥ |
yāvat ṣoḍaśa varṣāṇi aśivāḥ te śivāḥ tataḥ
41. Thus, these great afflictions (mahāgraha) for boys have been declared by me. They are inauspicious for sixteen years; thereafter, they become auspicious.
