महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-219, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
श्रिया जुष्टं महासेनं देवसेनापतिं कृतम् ।
सप्तर्षिपत्न्यः षड्देव्यस्तत्सकाशमथागमन् ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca ,
śriyā juṣṭaṁ mahāsenaṁ devasenāpatiṁ kṛtam ,
saptarṣipatnyaḥ ṣaḍdevyastatsakāśamathāgaman.

kṛtam | saptarṣipatnyaḥ ṣaṭdevyaḥ tat sakāśam atha agaman
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then the wives of the seven sages and the six goddesses came to the presence of Mahāsena, who was endowed with glory (śrī) and made commander of the divine army (Devasenāpati).
