महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-187, verse-34

कालचक्रं नयाम्येको ब्रह्मन्नहमरूपि वै ।
शमनं सर्वभूतानां सर्वलोककृतोद्यमम् ॥३४॥
34. kālacakraṁ nayāmyeko brahmannahamarūpi vai ,
śamanaṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ sarvalokakṛtodyamam.
34. kālacakram nayāmi ekaḥ brahman aham arūpi
vai śamanam sarvabhūtānām sarvalokakṛtodyamam
34. O Brahman, I alone set in motion the wheel of time (kāla), and I am indeed formless. I am the pacifier of all beings, and my endeavor (karma) causes all worlds.
