महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-19, verse-60

एतावदेव वक्तव्यं नातो भूयोऽस्ति किंचन ।
षण्मासान्नित्ययुक्तस्य योगः पार्थ प्रवर्तते ॥६०॥
60. etāvadeva vaktavyaṁ nāto bhūyo'sti kiṁcana ,
ṣaṇmāsānnityayuktasya yogaḥ pārtha pravartate.
60. etāvat eva vaktavyam na ataḥ bhūyaḥ asti kiṃcana
ṣaṇmāsāt nityayuktasya yogaḥ pārtha pravartate
60. This much alone is to be stated; there is nothing more than this. O Pārtha, for one who is constantly engaged in spiritual discipline (yoga), the discipline (yoga) becomes effective within six months.
