महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-40, verse-34

दैवं दैत्यमथो राज्ञां वपुर्धारयतेऽपि च ।
सुकृशो वायुभग्नाङ्गः शकुनिर्विकृतस्तथा ॥३४॥
34. daivaṁ daityamatho rājñāṁ vapurdhārayate'pi ca ,
sukṛśo vāyubhagnāṅgaḥ śakunirvikṛtastathā.
34. daivam daityam atha u rājñām vapuḥ dhārayate api
ca sukṛśaḥ vāyubhagnāṅgaḥ śakuniḥ vikṛtaḥ tathā
34. daivam daityam rājñām vapuḥ api ca dhārayate atha

34. It assumes the forms of gods (daivam), demons (daityam), and even kings. Then, exceedingly emaciated, with limbs broken by the wind, it becomes a deformed bird.
