महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-40, verse-18

नारीणां चरितज्ञश्च देवशर्मा महामुनिः ।
यथाशक्ति यथोत्साहं भार्यां तामभ्यरक्षत ॥१८॥
18. nārīṇāṁ caritajñaśca devaśarmā mahāmuniḥ ,
yathāśakti yathotsāhaṁ bhāryāṁ tāmabhyarakṣata.

yathāśakti yathā utsāhaṃ bhāryām tām abhyarakṣata
18. devaśarmā mahāmuniḥ ca nārīṇām caritajñaḥ tām

18. And the great sage Devasharman, who understood the conduct of women, protected his wife with all his power and enthusiasm.
