पूर्वसर्गे तु कौन्तेय साध्व्यो नार्य इहाभवन् ।
असाध्व्यस्तु समुत्पन्ना कृत्या सर्गात्प्रजापतेः ॥८॥

asādhvyastu samutpannā kṛtyā sargātprajāpateḥ.

8. But, O son of Kunti (Arjuna), in a previous creation, virtuous women existed here. Yet, unchaste women, born as malevolent beings (kṛtyā), arose from Prajapati's (Brahma) act of creation.
