महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-132, verse-26

एष वाणीकृतो देवि धर्मः सेव्यः सदा नरैः ।
शुभः सत्यगुणो नित्यं वर्जनीया मृषा बुधैः ॥२६॥
26. eṣa vāṇīkṛto devi dharmaḥ sevyaḥ sadā naraiḥ ,
śubhaḥ satyaguṇo nityaṁ varjanīyā mṛṣā budhaiḥ.

26. O Goddess, this natural law (dharma) which manifests as speech, ought always to be followed by people. The auspicious quality of truth should always be upheld, while falsehood should be avoided by the wise.
