महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-132, verse-25

न कोपाद्व्याहरन्ते ये वाचं हृदयदारणीम् ।
सान्त्वं वदन्ति क्रुद्धापि ते नराः स्वर्गगामिनः ॥२५॥
25. na kopādvyāharante ye vācaṁ hṛdayadāraṇīm ,
sāntvaṁ vadanti kruddhāpi te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ.
25. na kopāt vyāharante ye vācam hṛdayadāraṇīm
sāntvam vadanti kruddhā api te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ
25. ye narāḥ kruddhā api hṛdayadāraṇīm vācam kopāt
na vyāharante sāntvam vadanti te svargagāminaḥ
25. Those people who, even when angry, do not utter words that tear the heart but instead speak soothing words, they are the ones who go to heaven.
