O lord of the people (viśām pate), that yogi (yogī) who is fully absorbed (samāhitaḥ) in great vows (mahā-vrata), completely (samyak) unites (yuṅkte) the subtle self (sūkṣmam ātman) through his own self (ātmanā) in these (eteṣu) places (sthāneṣu).
