अनीश्वरः कथं मुच्येदित्येवं शत्रुकर्शन ।

O destroyer of enemies, how can one attain liberation (mokṣa) without a controller (īśvara)? Thus, the wise followers of Yoga (yoga) explain the supremacy [of their system] with sound reasons.
