महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-271, verse-17

कर्मणा स्वेन रक्तानि विरक्तानि च दानव ।
यथा कर्मविशेषांश्च प्राप्नुवन्ति तथा शृणु ॥१७॥
17. karmaṇā svena raktāni viraktāni ca dānava ,
yathā karmaviśeṣāṁśca prāpnuvanti tathā śṛṇu.
