सोन्नतं जगदिवोरुतटाकं वारिणा विवलितं तिमिरेण ।
प्रस्फुरन्ति च युगान्त इवैता विद्युतः शफरिका इव लोलाः ॥ २४ ॥

24. That elevated world (jagat), agitated by water and darkness, appears like a vast lake. And these lightning flashes, restless like small fish, gleam forth as if at the end of a cosmic age (yuga).
