पार्श्वगा ऊचुः ।
अत्रोत्तमाशथ लतावलयालयेषु लीलाविलोलललनाः कलयन्ति गीतम् ।
उद्दामभावरसविस्मृतवासरेहा विश्रम्य किंनरगणाः कलकाकलीकम् ॥ १ ॥

1. The bystanders said: "Here, in the shelters of the creeper arbors, excellent and agile women perform songs. And groups of Kiṁnaras, having rested, sing with sweet and indistinct melodies, having forgotten their daily activities due to the intense emotional rapture."
