11. This is the Krauñca mountain, where the chirping of groves and the roaring din of bamboo clumps, making harsh 'kvat' sounds from rivers within rugged caves, silence the flocks of birds. In this very mountain, snakes (kumbhīnasaḥ) crawl up the trunks of ancient Rohana trees, agitated by the calls of powerful, flying cranes (or birds).
