योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-18, verse-40

मत्तेभकर्णाग्रचलः कायो लम्बाम्बुभङ्गुरः ।
न संत्यजति मां यावत्तावदेनं त्यजाम्यहम् ॥ ४० ॥
mattebhakarṇāgracalaḥ kāyo lambāmbubhaṅguraḥ ,
na saṃtyajati māṃ yāvattāvadenaṃ tyajāmyaham 40
40. mattebhakarṇāgracalaḥ kāyaḥ lambāmbubhaṅguraḥ
na saṃtyajati mām yāvat tāvat enam tyajāmi aham
40. The body is as unsteady as the tip of an intoxicated elephant's ear and as fragile as falling water. As long as it does not abandon me, so long I shall abandon it.
