योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-18, verse-51

वायोर्दीपस्य मनसो गच्छतो ज्ञायते गतिः ।
आगच्छतश्च भगवञ्छरीरस्य कदाचन ॥ ५१ ॥
vāyordīpasya manaso gacchato jñāyate gatiḥ ,
āgacchataśca bhagavañcharīrasya kadācana 51
51. vāyoḥ dīpasya manasaḥ gacchataḥ jñāyate gatiḥ
āgacchataḥ ca bhagavan śarīrasya kadācana
51. The motion (gati) of the moving wind, of a lamp, and of the mind is known. But, O Lord (bhagavan), the motion (gati) of the body as it comes into being is never known.
