वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-18, verse-50

मद्दोषकृतदोषां तां यथा तारां तपस्विनीम् ।
सुग्रीवो नावमन्येत तथावस्थातुमर्हसि ॥५०॥
50. maddoṣakṛtadoṣāṃ tāṃ yathā tārāṃ tapasvinīm ,
sugrīvo nāvamanyeta tathāvasthātumarhasi.
50. mat-doṣa-kṛta-doṣām tām yathā tārām tapasvinīm
| sugrīvaḥ na avamanyeta tathā avasthātum arhasi
50. yathā sugrīvaḥ mama doṣa-kṛta-doṣām tapasvinīm tām tārām na avamanyeta,
tathā avasthātum arhasi
50. You should act in such a way that Sugriva does not disrespect the distressed Tara, whose misfortune was caused by my fault.
