वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-18, verse-39

त्वं तु धर्ममविज्ञाय केवलं रोषमास्थितः ।
प्रदूषयसि मां धर्मे पितृपैतामहे स्थितम् ॥३९॥
39. tvaṃ tu dharmamavijñāya kevalaṃ roṣamāsthitaḥ ,
pradūṣayasi māṃ dharme pitṛpaitāmahe sthitam.
39. tvam tu dharmam avijñāya kevalam roṣam āsthitaḥ
| pradūṣayasi mām dharme pitṛpaitāmahe sthitam
39. tu tvam dharmam avijñāya kevalam roṣam āsthitaḥ

39. But you, not understanding the natural law (dharma), have merely resorted to anger. You condemn me, who abides by the ancestral natural law (dharma).
