महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-31, verse-44

अवहासस्य वोऽस्याद्य प्रतिवक्तास्मि पाण्डवाः ।
गमिष्यथ हताः सद्यः सपाञ्चाला यमक्षयम् ॥४४॥
44. avahāsasya vo'syādya prativaktāsmi pāṇḍavāḥ ,
gamiṣyatha hatāḥ sadyaḥ sapāñcālā yamakṣayam.
44. avahāsasya vaḥ asya adya prativaktā asmi pāṇḍavāḥ
gamiṣyatha hatāḥ sadyaḥ sa-pāñcālāḥ yama-kṣayam
44. aham pāṇḍavāḥ adya vaḥ asya avahāsasya prativaktā asmi
yūyam sa-pāñcālāḥ hatāḥ sadyaḥ yama-kṣayam gamiṣyatha
44. "O Pāṇḍavas, today I will be the one to retaliate for this ridicule of yours. Slain, you along with the Pañcālas will immediately go to Yama's abode."
