महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-31, verse-35

संक्षोभ्य सलिलं वेगाद्गदामादाय वीर्यवान् ।
अद्रिसारमयीं गुर्वीं काञ्चनाङ्गदभूषणाम् ।
अन्तर्जलात्समुत्तस्थौ नागेन्द्र इव निःश्वसन् ॥३५॥
35. saṁkṣobhya salilaṁ vegādgadāmādāya vīryavān ,
adrisāramayīṁ gurvīṁ kāñcanāṅgadabhūṣaṇām ,
antarjalātsamuttasthau nāgendra iva niḥśvasan.

35. The mighty one, having forcefully churned the water, took his heavy mace, which was made of mountain essence and adorned with golden armlets. He then rose from beneath the water, hissing like a great serpent.
