अद्य वः सरथान्साश्वानशस्त्रो विरथोऽपि सन् ।
नक्षत्राणीव सर्वाणि सविता रात्रिसंक्षये ।
तेजसा नाशयिष्यामि स्थिरीभवत पाण्डवाः ॥१७॥

17. adya vaḥ sarathānsāśvānaśastro viratho'pi san ,

17. pāṇḍavāḥ sthirī-bhavata adya aśastraḥ
virathaḥ api san tejasā vaḥ sa-rathān
sa-aśvān sarvān nāśayiṣyāmi iva savitā
rātri-saṃkṣaye sarvāṇi nakṣatrāṇi

17. Today, even though I am weaponless and without a chariot, I will destroy all of you who are equipped with chariots and horses, just as the sun at the end of night disperses all the stars with its brilliance. O Pāṇḍavas, stand firm!
