महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-31, verse-24

एक एकेन संगम्य यत्ते संमतमायुधम् ।
तत्त्वमादाय युध्यस्व प्रेक्षकास्ते वयं स्थिताः ॥२४॥

24. eka ekena saṁgamya yatte saṁmatamāyudham ,
tattvamādāya yudhyasva prekṣakāste vayaṁ sthitāḥ.

24. Having approached one another, let one (of us) fight with one (of you). Take up whatever weapon you approve of, and fight. We stand here as your spectators.
