महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-74, verse-30

ततस्तौ निहतौ दृष्ट्वा तयो राजन्पदानुगाः ।
अभ्यद्रवन्त संक्रुद्धाः किरन्तः शतशः शरान् ॥३०॥
30. tatastau nihatau dṛṣṭvā tayo rājanpadānugāḥ ,
abhyadravanta saṁkruddhāḥ kirantaḥ śataśaḥ śarān.

30. Then, O king, seeing those two slain, their enraged followers rushed forward, showering hundreds of arrows.
