महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-74, verse-2

तिष्ठतां युध्यमानानां पुनरावर्ततामपि ।
भज्यतां जयतां चैव जगाम तदहः शनैः ॥२॥
2. tiṣṭhatāṁ yudhyamānānāṁ punarāvartatāmapi ,
bhajyatāṁ jayatāṁ caiva jagāma tadahaḥ śanaiḥ.

bhajyatām jayatām ca eva jagāma tat ahaḥ śanaiḥ
2. tat ahaḥ tiṣṭhatām,

2. That day slowly passed for all — for those standing, for those fighting, even for those retreating, and for both the defeated and the victorious.
