महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-25, verse-21

श्रवणाभ्यामथो पद्भ्यां संहतेन करेण च ।
व्यावृत्तनयनः क्रुद्धः प्रदहन्निव पाण्डवम् ॥२१॥
21. śravaṇābhyāmatho padbhyāṁ saṁhatena kareṇa ca ,
vyāvṛttanayanaḥ kruddhaḥ pradahanniva pāṇḍavam.
21. śravaṇābhyām atho padbhyām saṃhatena kareṇa ca
vyāvṛttanayanaḥ kruddhaḥ pradahan iva pāṇḍavam
21. (saḥ nāgapravaraḥ) śravaṇābhyām atho padbhyām ca saṃhatena kareṇa (sahitaḥ),
vyāvṛttanayanaḥ kruddhaḥ (san),
pāṇḍavam iva pradahan (samādravat)
21. With its ears and feet, and with its coiled trunk, its eyes rolling in fury, the enraged elephant (charged) as if to burn the Pāṇḍava (Bhīma).
