महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-25, verse-17

तस्यावर्जितनागस्य म्लेच्छस्यावपतिष्यतः ।
शिरश्चिच्छेद भल्लेन क्षिप्रकारी वृकोदरः ॥१७॥
17. tasyāvarjitanāgasya mlecchasyāvapatiṣyataḥ ,
śiraściccheda bhallena kṣiprakārī vṛkodaraḥ.

śiraḥ ciccheda bhallena kṣiprakārī vṛkodaraḥ
17. kṣiprakārī vṛkodaraḥ bhallena āvarjitanāgasya avapatiṣyataḥ tasya mlecchasya śiraḥ ciccheda.
17. The swift-acting Vṛkodara (Bhima) cut off the head (śiras) of that Mleccha, whose elephant had been felled (āvarjita-nāga) and who was about to fall (avapatiṣyataḥ), with an arrow (bhalla).
