महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-25, verse-11

ततः क्षणेन क्षितिपं क्षतजप्रतिमेक्षणः ।
क्षयं निनीषुर्निशितैर्भीमो विव्याध पत्रिभिः ॥११॥
11. tataḥ kṣaṇena kṣitipaṁ kṣatajapratimekṣaṇaḥ ,
kṣayaṁ ninīṣurniśitairbhīmo vivyādha patribhiḥ.

11. Then, in a moment, Bhīma, whose eyes were red like blood and who desired to bring the king (Duryodhana) to his destruction, pierced him with sharp arrows.
