महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-24, verse-9

तं शैनेयः शरव्रातैः क्रुद्धः क्रुद्धमवारयत् ।
कृतवर्मा च शैनेयं मत्तो मत्तमिव द्विपम् ॥९॥
9. taṁ śaineyaḥ śaravrātaiḥ kruddhaḥ kruddhamavārayat ,
kṛtavarmā ca śaineyaṁ matto mattamiva dvipam.

kṛtavarmā ca śaineyam mattaḥ mattam iva dvipam
9. kruddhaḥ śaineyaḥ śaravrātāiḥ kruddham tam avārayat ca
kṛtavarmā mattaḥ mattam dvipam iva śaineyam avārayat
9. The enraged son of Śini (Sātyaki) with his volleys of arrows checked the enraged Kṛtavarman; and Kṛtavarman, himself like an intoxicated elephant (dvi-pa), checked Śaineya, who was also like an intoxicated elephant (dvi-pa).
