महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-24, verse-4

यथाशक्ति यथोत्साहं यथासत्त्वं नराधिपाः ।
वारयध्वं यथायोगं पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् ॥४॥
4. yathāśakti yathotsāhaṁ yathāsattvaṁ narādhipāḥ ,
vārayadhvaṁ yathāyogaṁ pāṇḍavānāmanīkinīm.
4. yathāśakti yathā utsāham yathā sattvam narādhipāḥ
vārayadhvam yathā-yogam pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm
4. narādhipāḥ yathāśakti yathā utsāham yathā sattvam

4. O rulers of men, ward off the Pāṇḍavas' army, each according to his strength, enthusiasm, courage, and as is proper.
