महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-170, verse-14

ततो निर्मथ्यमानस्य सागरस्येव निस्वनः ।
अभवत्तस्य सैन्यस्य सुमहानद्भुतोपमः ॥१४॥
14. tato nirmathyamānasya sāgarasyeva nisvanaḥ ,
abhavattasya sainyasya sumahānadbhutopamaḥ.
14. tataḥ nirmathyamānasya sāgarasya iva nisvanaḥ
abhavat tasya sainyasya sumahān adbhutopamaḥ
14. tataḥ tasya sainyasya nirmathyamānasya sāgarasya
iva sumahān adbhutopamaḥ nisvanaḥ abhavat
14. Then, a very great (sumahān) sound (nisvanaḥ) arose from that army (sainya), comparable to a marvel (adbhutopamaḥ) and like the roar of the ocean (sāgara) being churned.
