महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-170, verse-12

यथा शिलोच्चये शैलः सागरे सागरो यथा ।
प्रतिहन्येत राजेन्द्र तथासन्कुरुपाण्डवाः ॥१२॥
12. yathā śiloccaye śailaḥ sāgare sāgaro yathā ,
pratihanyeta rājendra tathāsankurupāṇḍavāḥ.

12. Just as a mountain would crash against another mountain (śiloccaya) or an ocean against another ocean (sāgara), O best of kings (Rājendra), so did the Kurus and Pandavas confront each other.
