दृष्ट्वा मद्रेश्वररथं धार्तराष्ट्राः पराङ्मुखम् ।
सर्वे विमनसो भूत्वा नेदमस्तीत्यचिन्तयन् ॥५३॥

53. Upon seeing the chariot of the king of Madra (Madreśvara) turned away from the battle, all the Dhārtarāṣṭras became dejected and thought, 'This is not right!'
