महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-79, verse-3

जीयमानान्विमनसो मामकान्विगतौजसः ।
वदसे संयुगे सूत दिष्टमेतदसंशयम् ॥३॥
3. jīyamānānvimanaso māmakānvigataujasaḥ ,
vadase saṁyuge sūta diṣṭametadasaṁśayam.

3. O charioteer (sūta), you speak of my warriors in battle as being defeated, despondent, and deprived of their energy. This is certainly destiny (diṣṭa), beyond doubt.
