महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-79, verse-39

शक्तिं विनिहतां दृष्ट्वा हैडिम्बः प्राद्रवद्भयात् ।
यथेन्द्रस्य रणात्पूर्वं नमुचिर्दैत्यसत्तमः ॥३९॥
39. śaktiṁ vinihatāṁ dṛṣṭvā haiḍimbaḥ prādravadbhayāt ,
yathendrasya raṇātpūrvaṁ namucirdaityasattamaḥ.
39. śaktim vinihatām dṛṣṭvā haiḍimbaḥ prādravat bhayāt
yathā indrasya raṇāt pūrvam namuciḥ daitya-sattamaḥ
39. haiḍimbaḥ vinihatām śaktim dṛṣṭvā bhayāt prādravat yathā
pūrvam indrasya raṇāt daitya-sattamaḥ namuciḥ (prādravat)
39. Having seen the spear (śakti) shattered, Haiḍimba (the Rakshasa chief) fled in fear, just as Namuci, the foremost of the Daityas, had previously fled from Indra in battle.
