महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-79, verse-44

छाद्यमानः शरौघेण हृष्टरूपतरोऽभवत् ।
तयोश्चाप्यभवत्प्रीतिरतुला मातृकारणात् ॥४४॥
44. chādyamānaḥ śaraugheṇa hṛṣṭarūpataro'bhavat ,
tayoścāpyabhavatprītiratulā mātṛkāraṇāt.

tayoḥ ca api abhavat prītiḥ atulā mātṛkāraṇāt

44. Even as he was being covered by a shower of arrows, his appearance became exceedingly joyful. And an incomparable affection (prīti) arose between the two of them because of their mother.
