महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-139, verse-9

स हि मे जातकर्मादि कारयामास माधव ।
शास्त्रदृष्टेन विधिना पुत्रप्रीत्या जनार्दन ॥९॥
9. sa hi me jātakarmādi kārayāmāsa mādhava ,
śāstradṛṣṭena vidhinā putraprītyā janārdana.
