महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-139, verse-18

यदि ह्यद्य न गच्छेयं द्वैरथं सव्यसाचिना ।
अकीर्तिः स्याद्धृषीकेश मम पार्थस्य चोभयोः ॥१८॥
18. yadi hyadya na gaccheyaṁ dvairathaṁ savyasācinā ,
akīrtiḥ syāddhṛṣīkeśa mama pārthasya cobhayoḥ.
18. yadi hi adya na gaccheyam dvairatham savyasācinā
akīrtiḥ syāt hṛṣīkeśa mama pārthasya ca ubhayoḥ
18. hṛṣīkeśa yadi hi adya savyasācinā dvairatham na gaccheyam,
mama ca pārthasya ca ubhayoḥ akīrtiḥ syāt
18. Indeed, O Hṛṣīkeśa, if I do not engage in a duel with Savyasācin (Arjuna) today, dishonor would come to both me and Pārtha (Arjuna).
