महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-255, verse-53

इदमत्यद्भुतं चात्र चकार पुरुषोऽर्जुनः ।
क्रोशमात्रगतानश्वान्सैन्धवस्य जघान यत् ॥५३॥
53. idamatyadbhutaṁ cātra cakāra puruṣo'rjunaḥ ,
krośamātragatānaśvānsaindhavasya jaghāna yat.
53. इदम् अत्यद्भुतं च अत्र चकार पुरुषः अर्जुनः
क्रोशमात्रगतान् अश्वान् सैन्धवस्य जघान यत्
53. And in this instance, Arjuna (puruṣa) performed a truly astonishing deed, by killing Saindhava's horses after they had only gone a distance of a krośa.
