महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-255, verse-46

भार्याभिहर्ता निर्वैरो यश्च राज्यहरो रिपुः ।
याचमानोऽपि संग्रामे न स जीवितुमर्हति ॥४६॥
46. bhāryābhihartā nirvairo yaśca rājyaharo ripuḥ ,
yācamāno'pi saṁgrāme na sa jīvitumarhati.
46. bhāryābhihartā nirvairaḥ yaḥ ca rājyaharaḥ ripuḥ
yācamānaḥ api saṃgrāme na saḥ जीवितुम् arhati
46. He who abducted a wife, who is a relentless foe and usurper of the kingdom—he does not deserve to live, even if he begs for his life in battle.
