महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-255, verse-25

न बुबोध हतं सूतं स राजा बाहुशालिना ।
तस्याश्वा व्यद्रवन्संख्ये हतसूतास्ततस्ततः ॥२५॥
25. na bubodha hataṁ sūtaṁ sa rājā bāhuśālinā ,
tasyāśvā vyadravansaṁkhye hatasūtāstatastataḥ.
25. na bubodha hatam sūtam saḥ rājā bāhuśālinā tasya
aśvāḥ vyadravan saṅkhye hatasūtāḥ tatas tataḥ
25. That king, mighty-armed, did not perceive that his charioteer had been killed. His horses, with their charioteer slain, then ran away hither and thither in the battle.
