एकपादांश्च पुरुषान्केवलान्वनवासिनः ।
नगरीं संजयन्तीं च पिच्छण्डं करहाटकम् ।
दूतैरेव वशे चक्रे करं चैनानदापयत् ॥४७॥

47. ekapādāṁśca puruṣānkevalānvanavāsinaḥ ,
nagarīṁ saṁjayantīṁ ca picchaṇḍaṁ karahāṭakam ,
dūtaireva vaśe cakre karaṁ cainānadāpayat.

47. He brought under his control, solely through messengers, the one-footed men, the isolated forest-dwellers, and the city of Saṃjayantī, as well as the regions of Picchaṇḍa and Karahāṭaka. He also made them pay tribute.

47. את האנשים בעלי הרגל האחת (אֵקַפָּאדַה), שכולם יושבי יער, ואת העיר סַנְג׳ַיַנְטִי, את פִּיצ׳ְצ׳ְהַנְדַה ואת קַרַהָאטַקַה, את כולם הכניע באמצעות שליחים בלבד, והטיל עליהם לשלם מס.
