महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-28, verse-28

मुखं त्वमसि देवानां यज्ञस्त्वमसि पावक ।
पावनात्पावकश्चासि वहनाद्धव्यवाहनः ॥२८॥
28. mukhaṁ tvamasi devānāṁ yajñastvamasi pāvaka ,
pāvanātpāvakaścāsi vahanāddhavyavāhanaḥ.
28. mukham tvam asi devānām yajñaḥ tvam asi pāvaka
pāvanāt pāvakaḥ ca asi vahanāt havyavāhanaḥ
28. pāvaka tvam devānām mukham asi tvam yajñaḥ asi
pāvanāt ca pāvakaḥ asi vahanāt havyavāhanaḥ
28. You are the mouth of the gods, you are the Vedic ritual (yajña), O purifier (pāvaka)! Because of your purifying nature, you are called Pāvaka, and because you bear oblations, you are Havyavāhana.
