महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-28, verse-22

ततः प्रभृति ये केचिदज्ञानात्तां पुरीं नृपाः ।
जिगीषन्ति बलाद्राजंस्ते दह्यन्तीह वह्निना ॥२२॥
22. tataḥ prabhṛti ye kecidajñānāttāṁ purīṁ nṛpāḥ ,
jigīṣanti balādrājaṁste dahyantīha vahninā.
22. tataḥ prabhṛti ye kecit ajñānāt tām purīm nṛpāḥ
jigīṣanti balāt rājan te dahyanti iha vahninā
22. From that time onwards, O King, any rulers (nṛpa) who, out of ignorance, desire to conquer that city by force, are consumed here by fire.
