महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-134, verse-36

पुत्रवक्त्रमिवाभीक्ष्णं भर्तुर्वदनमीक्षते ।
या साध्वी नियताचारा सा भवेद्धर्मचारिणी ॥३६॥
36. putravaktramivābhīkṣṇaṁ bharturvadanamīkṣate ,
yā sādhvī niyatācārā sā bhaveddharmacāriṇī.
36. putra-vaktram iva abhīkṣṇam bhartuḥ vadanam īkṣate
yā sādhvī niyata-ācārā sā bhavet dharma-cāriṇī
36. yā sādhvī niyata-ācārā sā abhīkṣṇam putra-vaktram
iva bhartuḥ vadanam īkṣate sā dharma-cāriṇī bhavet
36. The virtuous woman, whose conduct is disciplined, constantly gazes upon her husband's face as if it were her son's; she truly becomes a wife who performs her marital duty (dharma).
