अपृच्छद्देवमहिषी स्त्रीधर्मं धर्मवत्सला ।
स्त्रीधर्मकुशलास्ता वै गङ्गाद्याः सरितां वराः ॥१९॥

19. The queen of the gods, Pārvatī, who was devoted to (natural) law (dharma), asked about the (natural) law (dharma) for women. She inquired of (gaṅgā) and the other excellent rivers, who were indeed skilled in the (natural) law (dharma) of women.
