महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-96, verse-55

आत्मनः प्रतिरूपोऽसौ लब्धः पतिरिति स्थिते ।
विचित्रवीर्यं कल्याणं पूजयामासतुस्तु ते ॥५५॥
55. ātmanaḥ pratirūpo'sau labdhaḥ patiriti sthite ,
vicitravīryaṁ kalyāṇaṁ pūjayāmāsatustu te.
55. ātmanaḥ pratirūpaḥ asau labdhaḥ patiḥ iti sthite
vicitravīryam kalyāṇam pūjayāmāsatuḥ tu te
55. When it was thus established that this (Vichitravirya) had been obtained as a husband, a fitting counterpart to their selves, those two (princesses) indeed honored the auspicious Vichitravirya.
