महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-96, verse-51

स विनिश्चित्य धर्मज्ञो ब्राह्मणैर्वेदपारगैः ।
अनुजज्ञे तदा ज्येष्टामम्बां काशिपतेः सुताम् ॥५१॥
51. sa viniścitya dharmajño brāhmaṇairvedapāragaiḥ ,
anujajñe tadā jyeṣṭāmambāṁ kāśipateḥ sutām.

anujajñe tadā jyeṣṭhām ambām kāśipateḥ sutām
51. Having deliberated with the Brahmins who were expert in the Vedas, he, the knower of dharma, then permitted Ambā, the eldest daughter of the king of Kāśi, (to leave).
