महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-96, verse-13

एवमुक्त्वा महीपालान्काशिराजं च वीर्यवान् ।
सर्वाः कन्याः स कौरव्यो रथमारोपयत्स्वकम् ।
आमन्त्र्य च स तान्प्रायाच्छीघ्रं कन्याः प्रगृह्य ताः ॥१३॥
13. evamuktvā mahīpālānkāśirājaṁ ca vīryavān ,
sarvāḥ kanyāḥ sa kauravyo rathamāropayatsvakam ,
āmantrya ca sa tānprāyācchīghraṁ kanyāḥ pragṛhya tāḥ.

13. Having thus addressed the kings and the King of Kashi, the mighty Kuru scion made all the maidens mount his own chariot. And bidding farewell to those (kings), he quickly departed, taking those maidens with him.
