महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-96, verse-49

मया वरयितव्योऽभूच्छाल्वस्तस्मिन्स्वयंवरे ।
एतद्विज्ञाय धर्मज्ञ ततस्त्वं धर्ममाचर ॥४९॥
49. mayā varayitavyo'bhūcchālvastasminsvayaṁvare ,
etadvijñāya dharmajña tatastvaṁ dharmamācara.
49. mayā varayitavyaḥ abhūt śālvaḥ tasmin svayaṃvare
etat vijñāya dharmajña tataḥ tvam dharmam ācara
49. Salva was to be chosen by me in that svayaṃvara. Therefore, O knower of dharma, having understood this, you should act righteously.
